Domiciliary Care: Strabane & District Caring Services provide Domiciliary Care in the Strabane area including the surrounding rural villages of Donemana, Clady, Ballymagorry and Sion Mills as well as Derry /Londonderry, Waterside and rural areas. The service is provided in partnership with and under contract to Western Health & Social Care Trust and in a private capacity.
Domiciliary care is defined as the range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home. Services may involve routine household tasks within or outside the home, personal care of the client and other associated domestic services necessary to maintain an individual in an acceptable level of health, hygiene, dignity, safety and ease in their home.
SDCS provide domiciliary care seven days per week 365 days a year between the hours of 7.00am and 11pm and overnight services are also available. We provide Person Centred Care daily for our individual service users at an agreed time ensuring continuity of care. Care is provided through WHSCT, through Self Directed Support or in a private capacity.

All SDCS Domiciliary Carers, Team Leaders, Co-ordinators and managers are trained to a high standard. All staff are fully vetted through Access NI and are trained in line with NISCC induction standards. Throughout our training we ensure all our staff carry the values of SDCS ensuring care and compassion in their daily work.
